Florida Reemployment Assistance Appealing a Denial of Claim

You may file an appeal if your claim for reemployment benefits was denied.

When you file a claim in Florida, you are referred to as a Claimant by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.

When you file a claim, you will receive a determination of whether your claim is accepted or denied.

If your claim is denied, you will receive instructions on how to file an appeal.

You should already have an account on CONNECT, Florida's Online Reemployment Assistance System from when you filed your claim. You will use that same account to file your appeal. You will need your Social Security Number and your PIN to sign on. If you forgot your PIN, there is a way to get help.
